Fall in love with Mathematics

Here’s a love letter from a true mathematician, perhaps like me, or maybe not.

My Dear Love,

Yesterday, I was passing by your rectangular house in trigonometric
lane. There I saw you with your cute circular face, conical nose and
spherical eyes, standing in your triangular garden.

Before seeing you, my heart was a null set, but when a vector of
magnitude (likeness) from your eyes at a deviation of t radians made a
tangent to my heart, it differentiated.

My love for you is a quadratic equation with real roots, which only you
can solve by making good binary relation with me. The cosine of my
love for you extends to infinity. I promise that I should not resolve you
into partial functions but if I do so, you can integrate me by applying
the limits from zero to infinity.

You are as essential to me as an element to a set. The geometry of my
life revolves around your acute personality. My love, if you do not meet
me at parabola restaurant on date 10 at sunset, when the sun will be
making an angle of 160 degrees with the horizon, my heart would be like
a solved polynomial of degree 10.

With love from your higher order derivatives of maxima and minima of an
unknown function.

Yours ever loving,

Pythagoras

Hey, apology for the long absence that was, and that which is going to prevail. It’s been over a week since I returned, but it hasn’t been more than 3 hours in total I’ve accessed internet. Was so much endulged in my work, (coaching classes, self-study, school’s crappy syllabus and what all.) Had to study round the clock. But I did manage some time off in the past 2 days, so I thought my readers should be aware of the scenario. Firstly, my trip was better than I thought, simply amazing. Not many people know, I’m a complete photography freak, maybe I aren’t so good at it, but you don’t really need to be one with an appropriate camera. So during my trip I clicked merely 1890 photographs (having myself in just handful of them), which after being sorted out summed up to 1476, I guess. I’d love to share some sweet & (rarely bitter) experiences and lovely shots, but unfortunately, I have no time. Have to cover up for the loss, which is on the verge of completion. But I can’t say when the stuff would come up, can’t even tell when the next post would be written, but surely not before my school Unit Tests. The date could extend to my half-yearly exams, or maybe to finals, can’t say anything before IIT-JEE 2009.

Okay so I could finally spare some time to write this one. Just an adieu, about to leave in 30 mins. Luggage loaded in the car, so gotta have a little supper, and leave. Also class Xth Board result is scheduled to be announced in a couple of days. So good luck to all the Xthies, present XIthies. Have to rush, buh bye. Will write soon. Also keep a watch on Flickr, might upload pictures there, if I get time.

Steady as we go

Alright, so just a day more, and we’ll be flying all the way to London. Not so excited, but yeah, not so sad about it too. Since mom had this minor jaw surgery yesterday, I was compelled to do this little job today, couldn’t refuse her (rather couldn’t argue). Sick and tired I return from class, feed on some yummy food, get a new cool hair-cut, and then……and then ordered to shift my pc downstairs. However, there’s a reasonable logic behind it, we’ll be a month away, renovation just about to commence, so mom advised to shift it to the room downstairs, so as to keep it cool for long. So giving no more trouble to mom, I packed it up and here it is now. Its condition you can very well see in the image. Carpenter is responsible, not me. The table needs to be a bit modified, which will be done on return. Till then I’ll have to bear with the situation.
